Apple’s devices are so versatile that manufacturers keep thinking of various things to attach to it. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone actually thinks up of a way to attach a coffee machine to an iPad or iPhone. Before that glorious day arrives though we can just ogle right now over an oscilloscope that attaches to your Apple device.
The iMSO-104 is a mixed signal oscilloscope that has been exclusively designed work with Apple portable devices. This oscilloscope will work on an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. Being designed to work with portable equipment the iMSO-104 is very easy to use, it is also quite intuitive. These qualities has made it the favorite oscilloscope of people who actually need this equipment – inventors, electricians, technical people and those who are so into science fiction they pretend it’s some kind of mad scientist machine.
Through the very responsive touch screen of your preferred Apple device, you can just use hand gestures to go through the different screens you want to look at and study on the oscilloscope. You can zoom the screen, activate the trigger level and even reposition channels for both analog and digital. These are all useful screens that are standard oscilloscope screens – only much cooler looking because it’s on an Apple device.
The iMOS-104 is already available in the Apple App Store so you can check out the interface if you want to. But of course, it won’t really work without the necessary hardware needed to get signals from the items you want to study. The iMSO hardware consists of:
iMSO-104 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope Hardware
1x/10 Analog Probe
Logic Harness (4 Digital + 1 Ground)
SMD Grabbers (4 Digital + 1 Ground)
Bandwidth – 5MHz
Max sample rate – 12 MSPS

The iMSO – 104 costs $299.99.
