It’s increasingly likely that the laptop you’re about to buy will be powerful enough and with a decent screen to display high definition video, and Dell’s latest laptops are no exception.
Granted, 13- and 15-inch screens aren’t going to make a massive difference to HD over standard definition video, but there’s also an HDMI output for connecting up the laptop to a large HDTV or projector should you want to.
The real selling point of these laptops – the Inspiron 13z and 15z – is that they’re pretty thin (just 26.4mm thin for the 13z and 29.2mm for the 15z) and light, and utilise Intel’s ultra-low voltage processor (CULV) for better battery and processor performance.
Other features include up to 6GB of RAM, 320GB, 7200rpm hard drive, DVD drive, Wi-Fi and Windows 7.
Both are available in Obisidan Black and Cherry Red finishes.
