Okay… hmmm… okay….  

Couldn’t stop staring at this shirt.  Too loud?  Just right?  Or ain’t enough dazzles there for you?  Whatever it is, when you wear this shirt, this DOES tell everyone you’re an Apple fan boy through and through.  

No it’s not the official Apple logo, if you’re the fanboy you are you’d notice that the leaf isn’t pointing the right way.  Ha!  You thought it did, did you?  Here’s where you can get one on-line, but be fast… it will soon vanish with the millions of fanboys out to get some too. 

Oh, forgot to mention that the shirt has an audio-sensor built in.  This makes the design illuminate with the ambient noise around it.  So if you’re in a club… well, you’re a target for a brawl! LOL.  Nah, you’d be the coolest dancin’ penguin with the cool shirt.  🙂

Jamo 804 Surround Sound System

Yeah I know the company name isn’t really a big bang with the audio industry but Cali Lewis of GeekBrief.tv seem to be pretty well pleased with their new system offering.  The <a href=”http://jamo.com/Default.aspx?ID=6509&M=Shop&PID=19152&ProductID=18072″>804 Surround Sound System</a> by <a href=”http://www.jamo.com”>Jamo</a> (new theater audio system) can be mounted horizontally as a center speaker or vertically as a chic black pillar emitting really good sound.

 

The speaker finish is housed in black leather and high gloss aluminum, kinda perfect for the bachelor or bachelorette in you, eh?  I’m sure your friends will remember this visual marvel.  They can be mounted as a three piece combo around your wall-mounted flat screen display.  

 

Each speaker seems to be a complete set-up of each own.  They have tweeters, 4 1/2 midrange speakers and 2 speakers for base.  The price for this setup is $449 when they’re released in January.  Ughhh…. too bad they missed the holiday rush, otherwise you’d see a lot of bachelors walking around and smiling from ear to ear! Ha ha.

If you’d like to tone down your carbon footprint a little lower next year then you just may want to consider getting a crank-up MP3 player.  I was floored to see this “green inspired” gadget by Travor Baylis.  Need to listen to your favorite tune, wind up the Eco Media Player before hitting that play button.

Priced at $179 (4GB) and $209 (8GB), much like your usual MP3 players by Apple, Sony Microsoft and Creative.  The only difference I see though is that this one MP3 player with a built in flashlight.  Kinda gives you an idea that this maybe a camping gadget, right?

Don’t worry about winding it up too many times though.  When you want a break from winding the Eco Media Player does have an alternate Internal Lithium Ion battery which can be recharged via USB port, or the winding mechanism itself. You can get a maximum play time of 20 Hours on each charge.

The Wrap-Up Tripod

You know, I’ve been looking long and hard what accessory I need for my digital camera.  I thought of a slicker bag which offered more “space-age” protection OR a tripod (which I also needed just in case I’d need a steadier shot).  I’ve been choosing which to get first as there isn’t enough money-for-gadgets laying around… good thing I discovered one that puts both my needs together.

The Wrap-Up Tripod combines both functions, a case and a tripod all in one simple to use form.  One, you get an easy-to-open case using velcro, and two, you can attach the case to the bottom of your digital camera and THAT gives it the tripod function.  Cool eh?  Now you don’t have to do about 5 steps to get you and your camera that perfect shot.  Just unlock the velcro, flip the tripod stands down under and set that timer up baby! 🙂

The Wrap-Up Tripod is crafted in stretchy neoprene with a quick-release Velcro closure.  Good quality, may I add for just a few bucks.

The flooding of the Wii

Woke up today to a Walmart ad about tens of thousands of Wii consoles available for US$249.  Take note that those are only basic console sets (console and a controller)… should it come with an extra controllers, games and other bundled items… the price becomes US$329.  While I’m not totally a Wii fanboy, I’d say this deal comes perfectly during the holidays.  I’m sure parents will take note of this and line up for one.  I do hope PlayStation 3, the Xbox and some other stuff follows suit.

I’ve always looked for deals around this time of the year.  Walking around BestBuy, Target & Game Stop, I always see product bundles top shelf.  The key is to check the papers, cut the coupons, surf the internet… generally be keen at following through where the discounts are.  While it IS a job in itself, you’d be thankful your wallet at least remains a little “fatter” after the holidays.

Yes, these cute things are more than a two lovely balls.  They’re in fact disney-inspired MP3 players.  Another design that is sure to get the hearts of kids… at the parent’s wallet’s expense.  Aside from the usual MP3 features it packs, notice that there are little tiny dots on its face… those are LED lights.  They’re a little special because they change/animate to show a face expression. The cutest singing Mickey now can show up to 20 blinking facial expressions and looks when you alter the functions on the player.

Hello Kitty Laptops

Man, my sister should see this.  I bet she’d head on over to this website by Dec 2 to get her own Hello Kitty Laptops from Japan.  Or probably request one of her frequent flying friends to swing by Japan to pick her a unit.

The Hello Kitty notebook is based on Epson’s Endeavor NJ2150. Buyers can choose between a combo model ($1,200) and a so-called super-multi version ($1,500). Both versions are available in two different designs.

The combo model comes with an Intel Celeron 575 CPU (2GHz), 1GB memory, an 80GB HDD, a 15.4-inch TFT WXGA screen (1280×800 resolution), a DVD drive, WiFi, Windows Vista and, of course, a number of super-cute pre-installed Hello Kitty wallpapers.

The super-multi notebook features the same specs but is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU (2.26GHz), 2GB memory, a 120GB HDD and a DVD super multi drive.

Hello Kitty is a 50-year old icon, I’m sure this will sell out real fast.

Heated Ice Scraper With Light

I think this is one gadget you NEED.  I’ve experienced a few snow rains this year and with the temperature dropping so suddenly, it is so easy for ice to just block your view.  If you live in the city and would usually park by the sidewalks you NEED the Heated Ice Scraper With Light. At US$14.95 it is a no-brainer, really!  This is handy to use that you can plug it into your vehicle’s cigarette liter to work.

One thing that’s cool about this is that it comes with lighting so if you work the night shifts you can easily clean your wind shield before you drive off to work.  Heat comes from a heating element in the gadget melting ice and the scraper attached softens and easily allows you to scrape ice without damaging or scratching your windshield.

It pays to gear up these cold December nights.  Ice on windshields are very dangerous.

Plantronics BlueTooth Mobile Headset

One of my prized finds during the Black Friday sale was a Plantronics BlueTooth mobile headset.  I think I’ve received too many phone calls while walking, driving, jogging these days and I felt kinda silly holding up my phone while I do my business soooo… I told myself I’d get one pronto.  The thing that held off the purchase was price,  BlueTooth mobile headsets go from the lower $50s to the upper $90s!  I didn’t want to spend much moolah for it.  Good thing I waited.

First stop, Office Max.  At 5:30am I was the 40th in line.  They were selling Motorola BlueTooth headsets at about $35.  I thought that was a steal… well, err, after a $10 mail-in rebate.  So they were actually selling it for $45.  Failed at getting my gadget from Office Max because by the time I got there, they’re all gone.

Next stop, Circuit City.  Nada.  They were selling Blue Tooth headsets at regular price.  Bye bye Circuit City.

Next stop, Best Buy.  I knew if I didn’t have luck at Office Max how the heck would I have one in Best Buy.  No lines up front by 7am when I arrived (because I knew everyone was inside already).  But surprise surprise… they have a pile of Plantronics BlueTooth headsets on sale for $25!!!

Grabbed one!  Enjoying using it. 🙂
