A video of the assembly line production of the Xbox 360, that’s right, there are people working hard at this very moment putting together your pre-ordered Xbox 360.
The video shows a bunch of chinese guys and gals dressed in white wearing silk gloves testing and manufacturing the 360.
MGS4 now has a name: “Guns of the Patriots”.
At the TGS, Kojima Productions has been showing off a new MGS4 trailer. The trailer shows a shattered street full of advanced weaponry used be futuristic soldiers. And older, wiser Solid Snake takes the fight to them, downing them with precision and skill. Then as more enemies approach, Solid Snake takes refuge among some debris.

It looks like the Xbox 360 will get a staggered release after all.
Chief Xbox Officer Robbie Bach clarified this Wednesday, saying that “We will launch in North America, Europe and Japan in the same holiday season. There will probably be a week or 10 days in between the different territories, just to give us a chance to manage the logistics.”
So we will see it spread across the world pretty quickly. Here are the release dates:
North America: Nov 22, 2005
Europe: Dec 2, 2005
Japan: Dec 10, 2005
Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has revealed some more upcoming games for the Playstation 3. Whether or not these titles will only be released to the Japanese market or to other markets as well remains to be seen.
Taito is developing another Psychic Force game as well as a new Derby Stallion game. Banpresto is developing another Super Robot Wars game which had previously been announced for the Xbox 360. Developer Success will be offering both Sheep Village and an untitled RPG for the PS3. Spike will release Way of the Samurai for the PS3 in 2007.
Looks like those that get to be at TGS are going to have a great time.

In a recent poll that Xbox 360 garnered 5.8% support in Japan. Kind of a small number, I know. But you can look at it in two different ways. That is an increase of almost 4% as in the last poll the Xbox 360 only had the interest of 2% of the survey respondents. As usual Microsoft is using its skill in advertising to its advantage.
The Xbox 360 should be a great machine, so I am not surprised interest is increasing.
Here is a list of games that are being developed by various companies for the Playstation 3, some of this list will be seen on a PS3 release list, but we will get excited about that soon.

EB Games has a pre-order of Halo 3 up for $59.99 USD stating that it will ship in June 30th, 2006 though they put in big bold letters:
The ship date and retail price have not been confirmed and therefore are subject to change. If the retail price is decreased you will receive the lower price.
So we still don’t know when to expect it or really how much it costs, but you can put your name in for the pre-order.

I am not sure of the accuracy of the list, but I do know that if even half of them are released around the Xbox 360 launch date that we will be able to have a pretty nice list of titles to play until later releases.
The Vole has been touting the security features of the Xbox 360 of late, claiming that unlike previous consoles, the Xbox 360 will take a very long time to be able to modify.
In the past consoles have been modded to allow for piracy of games on the platform, and later as consoles began springing hard drives and PC-like features they became platforms for music, movie, TV and games piracy.
However Microsoft engineer Chris Satchell told government TV station the BBC that the Xbox 360 will be a lot harder to hack than previous generations of consoles, touting the fact that the Xbox 360 has been built from the ground up by Microsoft, allowing for much greater security.
“We’ve taken security to the hardware level and built it in from the ground up,” he said. “One of the reasons we went with custom hardware design for all our silicon is that it allows us to build security at the silicon level. There are going to be levels of security in this box that the hacker community has never seen before.”
This means that hackers will have a much tougher time in turning Microsoft’s new media hub into a piracy hub in the living room, though Satchell does admit that eventually even the fabled security of the Xbox 360 will probably be cracked.
“There are some really bright people in the world with some really expensive hardware,” he said. “I’m sure sooner or later someone will work out how to circumvent security. But the way we have done the design doesn’t mean that it will work on somebody else’s machine.”
If Microsoft’s security measures can hold off crackers from Xbox 360 games for even a few months then the software manufacturers of at least the first waves of games for the console will be happy.
It might be that only certain games are backwards compatible with the Xbox 360, and so some sites are trying to make a list of games that should be backwards compatible.
