Hidden goof rewards
Some of the game’s secrets shown in the achievements list are actually goof rewards. These vary from Loss Streaks to Rank Demoting.

Easy wins with Jann Lee
First, try to land a critical punch or kick to the enemy’s head. If not accomplished, make use of quick countering or blocking to land a firm blow. Then when your enemy is hit off balance for a few seconds, keep throwing random critical blows to the head region mainly, and mix it up slightly to the body and legs. If you can do this and include fast combos in between your rhythm, you should be able to keep the enemy off the ground desperate for making successful blows. You should be able to do this technique with simple combos. Make sure that your rhythm is broken, meaning attack at different times without staying in a similar pattern and keeping your blows mostly critical. If you can do this a lot, you should also be able to switch it up with fast combos making it almost impossible for your opponent to counter. Remember to execute critical blows to the head mainly, mixed with fast combos and quick blows to the body. Keep your rhythm broken so it is impossible to counter (no repetition or repeating the speed of blows), and make sure to keep your guard up. Do not allow the enemy to hit you unexpectedly, or they may confuse you with the same trick. Try to at least counter when you lose balance in the match.

Halo reference
Select Spartan-458 and play on the Gambler’s Paradise stage. During the match, a Warthog with Marines will appear on the road.

Biolab Core stage
Successfully complete Story mode to unlock the Biolab Core stage.

Nassau Station stage
Successfully complete Story mode with Helena to unlock a stage similar to the first stage of Halo 2, the Hangar Area.

Tatami Mat stage
Unlock all costumes and system voices and successfully complete Story mode with all seventeen characters to unlock the Tatami Mat stage, which has a floor mat with no walls.

When you do a trick off a ramp into the air and it appears that you are going to crash, get off your skateboard while still in the air. You should land safely on your feet.

Successfully complete Story mode with Helena to unlock a stage similar to the first stage of Halo 2, the Hangar Area.

Play as Ein
Successfully complete Story mode with Hitomi to unlock Ein in all modes except for Story mode.

Successfully complete Story mode with Eliot to unlock Gen Fu in all modes except for Story mode.

Bonus system announcer voices
In the options menu, you can choose different voices for the system announcer. To unlock additional voices, enter Sparring mode and bring up the sparring menu. Select “Exercise” and you will be prompted to run through an extensive moves list. Successfully complete the moves list to unlock that character’s voice as a system announcer.

Alternate character appearance
At the character selection screen, press A to select a character, then press X, Y, or Start. Press A to start the match with the alternate appearance. Note: Not all characters have an alternate version.

Alternate costumes
Successfully complete Story mode to unlock an alternate costume with the following characters. If available, the next alternate costume for that character will be unlocked when Story mode is completed with them again.

Easy Time Attack Achievements
To easily accomplish the Time Attack Achievements (Bronze, Silver, and Gold), go into “Settings”, then “Game Settings”, and change the “Time Attack Mode Match Points” to “1” instead of the default of “2”. By doing this, you will only have to defeat each opponent once instead of twice. Note: Costumes cannot be unlocked and your score will not be on the leaderboard unless it is under the default settings.

First Boss: Defeat the final Boss in level 1 on the default settings.
Second Boss: Defeat the final Boss in level 2 on the default settings.
Third Mini Boss: Defeat the mini Boss in level 3 on the default settings.
Final Boss: Defeat the final boss in level 3 on the default settings.
High score: Get first place on the game score board on the default settings,
Level 1 Master: Successfully complete level 1 without continuing on the default settings.
Level 2 Master: Successfully complete level 2 without continuing on the default settings.
Level 3 Master: Successfully complete level 3 without continuing on the default settings.
Cash Pile: Get 2,000,000 points at the end of level 1.
Co-Op: Successfully complete level 1 with another player on the default settings.
Co-Op Master: Successfully complete the game with another player on the default settings.

Infinite Ammunition
You will first need to find the gun for which you would like unlimited ammunition. This trick will only work for one type of gun. After you have chosen a gun, find the exact gun on an ally or enemy, then kill him. After he is dead, his gun will appear on the ground. When walking over the gun it will say you have received that weapon’s ammunition. If you have full ammunition, waste a few shots then pick up another of that same gun. However, this time the gun will stay on the ground. You can keep walking over the same gun on the ground repeatedly for more ammunition each time.

Completing Veteran mode
In Veteran mode, your life expectancy is cut to three or four shots until you die. However, Veteran mode does not improve the enemy’s aim or strategy. Use small blocks or small bulges of hills as cover and crawl, because you do not get points for kills, so do not take the Nazis head on. Let your allies lay some fire, if there are any. If not, throw a smoke grenade and shift between crouch and crawl positions, laying cover fire and stall some time for the smoke grenade to spread before the Nazis rush in. Use this smoke cover to fall back to the nearest safe position where you can regroup or hide and pick the Nazis off from afar.

Determining if enemies are still alive
Even after you shoot the enemy, he may still be alive. Make sure to aim your crosshairs at him and see if it turns red. If it does, it indicates that the enemy is still alive, and you must shoot him again. Do not give the enemy the chance to shoot you from behind while he regains consciousness.

Determining grenade danger
The grenade indicator is useful, however, you do not have to run away from it every time. If the indicator points that a grenade has landed near you, but you are taking cover behind a wall, you do not need to run away. Instead, the grenade will explode and not damage you at all.

Cognito mode
Successfully complete all 80 Puzzle mode worlds to unlock Cognito mode.

Finity mode
Successfully complete 280 levels of Endless mode to unlock Finity mode.

Hyper mode
Successfully complete 8 levels in Action mode to unlock Hyper mode.

Twilight mode
Successfully complete 17 levels in Classic mode to unlock Twilight mode.

Change Jewel Types
Hold LT + LB + RT + RB and press A.

Remove Background Grid
Hold LT + LB + RT + RB and press B.

Easy Achievements
To easily get the achievement of “Hexic Addict” and “Complete 100 games of Hexic”, go to Time mode and start a game on the Normal difficulty setting. Get at least one cluster for the clock to start. Then, wait for the time (50 seconds) to run out. This counts as a full game. You can do this as many times as needed to get the “Hexic Addict” and “Complete 100 games of Hexic” achievements.

To get the achievement of “Flower Child”, you must form a flower cluster. The easiest way to do this is the wait until you see a partially formed one (four or five pieces of the flower already together). Then, drop in the last piece and you will have created a flower. Flowers are worth a lot of points. Make a flower whenever you get the chance to do so. Note: Do not destroy anything beneath a partially formed flower, or the flower will break apart.

To get the achievement of “Star Gazer”, you must form a star cluster. The easiest way to do this is look for a partially formed star cluster (two pieces) and just drop the last star piece in whenever one gets close enough to the cluster. Also, the pieces in a star cluster do not need to be the same color; they just need to be star pieces. Forming a star cluster also gives you a lot of points and usually a large combo. Note: Do not destroy anything beneath a partially formed star cluster, or the star cluster will break apart.

Gamer Points
Accomplish the indicated task to unlock the corresponding number of Gamer Points (1,000 total possible points):

Activate RS card: 10 points
Complete 30 years of franchise mode: 400 points
Complete an offline game: 30 points
Enter the History Book: 10 points
Get four sacks in one game: 100 points
Get a first down: 20 points
Pass for 350 yards: 100 points
Rush for 200 yards: 100 points
Score a touchdown: 30 points
Win a franchise mode game: 100 points
Win the Super Bowl: 100 points

Create Low Paid All-Star Quarter Back
Create a punter or kicker with all his attributes at maximum, including passing. You can sign him for a low salary because he is a kicker. Then, set him as the starting quarterback on the depth charts when the season begins. You will now have the best kicker/punter and QB in the league. You may also maximize all passing attributes and move the kicking attributes down to sign him at an even lower price; however this is only recommended if you rarely kick.

Onside kicks
This trick works with any kicker. When you are kicking off, select “Onside Kick” when the return team is switching formation. When they are set, take the power bar all the way to the top, but do not select it. Bring it all the way down so that the power is at 31. Next, make your accuracy 97 to 99. The ball will hit the ground and go up straight up in the air every time. Have one of your players that is close to the ball sprint toward it. This makes all your players follow, and you will usually get it.

Easy sacks
Be a defensive lineman and back up a few feet. When the play starts, immediately run forward and Hitsick an offensive lineman. He will fall down and your player will still be running fast towards the quarterback to sack him.

Easy touchdowns
Take the best wide receiver on your team and put him in the tightend position. Audible his route so he does a fly (straight) route. Since he has such a low overall rating, they may just have a line backer on him or he might not even be covered. Throw it to him and he will easily be able to burn the defense.

Distracting T. Rexes
It is not possible to kill T. Rexes when you are a human. The only exception is the smaller version of a Rex in The Cave mission. Other than that, all your guns and spears can do is distract the T. Rex to come after you instead of your comrades. In most missions you must have the T. Rex come after you so that your comrades can open a door or complete an objective of some sort. Do not waste all your ammunition on a T. Rex. A few rounds of fire should be enough to distract it.

Killing V-Rexes with Kong
The very first time you fight the V-Rexes, there is a ledge which you can climb onto so they cannot attack. However, once you are up there, you will be attacked by the flying dinosaurs. They are not hard to defeat. When you are up there, go into Fury mode by repeatedly tapping Y until Kong smacks the ground. While in Fury mode, attack the V-Rexes one at a time. After you have hit one of them three times with A, they will be temporarily knocked out. You can then perform a finishing move by repeatedly tapping B or A. If done correctly, Kong will snap the V-Rex’s jaw in two or throw it.
