Easy points
To get easy points, get an outside scorer and press LT + X. He will put the ball behind his back and lay it up. It cannot be stopped even by an inside stopper and will always work.

Slam Dunk Contest points
While in the Slam Dunk Contest, tap X, then hold B to do MJ’s 1988 Slam Dunk. If it is done from the free throw line, it is worth an automatic 50. Hold LT + RT and press X(2), Y to do the Vince Carter arm in the rim. If you hold it for a few seconds, he will put his arm pit in the rim for a 50 sometimes.

To do a 720 dunk for an automatic 50, hold RT and run towards the basket and press the one foot 180 gather (Y). As soon as the gather motion starts, quickly rotate the Left Analog-stick counter-clockwise, twice then press the Windmill Dunk (Y) again. Release Y just before completing the first rotation and you will automatically complete the second rotation. You will always get a 50 for completing this dunk. Note: The RT dunk modifier must be held for the entire dunk. Also, you must complete the 720 motion before pressing Y the second time to dunk.

To do a under the legs dunk, start from the baseline. Hold LT, then use B to gather and B to do the trick. Correct timing is required.

To do a under the legs reverse dunk for an automatic 50, start from the corner of either baseline, then run toward the basket and press the two foot 180 gather (A) just as you reach the word “HOUSTON*06” along the baseline. As soon as you start the gather motion, hold Pump Slam (B) button, releasing B as soon as the ball passes under the legs and make contact with the player’s other hand. The timing is difficult and you will probably get hung on the rim until you get the timing correct. However, this dunk is worth an automatic 50. Note: When you perform this dunk, make sure you are running in the red out of bounds area behind the goal and not on the court or the judges may only give you a 49.

See through wall in Desert
In the Desert Multiplayer map, there is an area where you can take cover and see through the wall. In order to do this, you must have Bases 2 and 4 open. Go into the cave temple base, then go through the hall, and up the sand hill, not the stairs. Go in the little courtyard from either entrance then turn left. There should be a bowl near the wall. Stand as close to the wall and as far in as you can into the wedge created. While standing, go into cover. If done correctly, you should be able to see through the wall. This is most effective during the Infection game type with the Plasma Rifle. Hide there and whenever you see a skeleton, use the secondary function (invisibility). They will usually walk out because it is very difficult to see you.

Burger King Challenge
At the “Press Start” screen, press Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right. If you entered the code correctly, a message will appear stating that you have unlocked a “Special Challenge Event” will appear. At the main menu, select the “Challenge Series” option. Scroll all the way to the bottom and choose #59, the Burger King Challenge. Successfully complete the challenge to be able to use all Junkman parts on cars you have in “My Cars”. Note: Before applying Junkman parts, press A in the performance parts place to get them as high as they can go, then apply Junkman to each part. By doing this, it gives better stat raises.

Killing smaller dinosaurs easily
Use the following trick to kill a smaller dinosaur, such as the Velociraptor, easily. Throw a spear directly in its neck or head. Note: The spear does not need to be on fire.

Lever locations in Hayes level
In this level, you will come to a cave entrance with spiders surrounding a tree stump to the left. Ignore it for now, but this is the location of one lever. After you defeat the Raptors (kill them with flaming spears), light a spear on fire and burn the brush to the left of the gate while facing it. This will unveil the second lever. Grab a spear or bone, stab a dragon fly, then go back through the cave where the spiders were. Throw the bait to the right so the spiders leave the tree stump and you can obtain the other lever.

Distracting T. Rexes
It is not possible to kill T. Rexes when you are a human. The only exception is the smaller version of a Rex in The Cave mission. Other than that, all your guns and spears can do is distract the T. Rex to come after you instead of your comrades. In most missions you must have the T. Rex come after you so that your comrades can open a door or complete an objective of some sort. Do not waste all your ammunition on a T. Rex. A few rounds of fire should be enough to distract it.

Killing V-Rexes with Kong
The very first time you fight the V-Rexes, there is a ledge which you can climb onto so they cannot attack. However, once you are up there, you will be attacked by the flying dinosaurs. They are not hard to defeat. When you are up there, go into Fury mode by repeatedly tapping Y until Kong smacks the ground. While in Fury mode, attack the V-Rexes one at a time. After you have hit one of them three times with A, they will be temporarily knocked out. You can then perform a finishing move by repeatedly tapping B or A. If done correctly, Kong will snap the V-Rex’s jaw in two or throw it.
