Spectrum analyzers are necessary tools for installing wide area wireless networks (i.e. WISP) and can even be used by the typical consumer dealing with interference from mobile phones or microwaves. The spectrum analyzer basically gives you information about the wireless spectrum envrionment, to help you make choices that maximize coverage and minimize interference. Up until now, good spectrum analyzer’s have only been available for thousand’s of dollars. But MetaGeek has released a solid USB spectrum analyzer that will meet most people’s needs for only $99. Now all those wireless hacks can do things right!

The Nokia 770 is best described as an Internet tablet, meaning that it has a fully capable web browser, email, video, audio, rss feeds, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, flash and card memory. However, the tablet excludes such PDA features as contact and calendar management, as well as VoIP and an IM service.

The high-resolution screen of the 770 beats any PDA, it is also very easy to use, and connects to Wi-Fi as well as is required.
