The Optimus mini, with three OLED screen keys, is now available for pre-order from the folks at Art Lebedev design studio. Each button has a 262,000 color OLED screen, with a 96 x 96 pixel resolution, and measuring in at 2cm x 2cm each (keys measure 3.2 x 3.2cm each). The mini keyboard measures a total of 11.8 x 5.2 x 1.8cm.
Each screen can show either a static or animated graphic, with a maximum of 5 frames per second. Bundled Optimus software for Windows allows for easy configuration and customisation.
The mini sells for 100USD, shipments begin in May and will only last for a short time. However, the more expensive complete keyboard should be released by the end of this year.
