The SureShot is a small portable device, which uses GPS to scan a golf course, and then provide distances to the pin/hazards/boundaries.
You can record individual golf courses yourself, or you can download pre-recorded golf courses from the Tee2Green website, saving up to 10 different courses on the device at any one time.
While playing, the personal caddy will be able to tell you the distance to the front, center and back of the green from anywhere on the course. As well as the distance to up to 15 pre-recorded points for each hole, for example water and sand traps.
Another key feature of the SureShot is its ability to keep statistical records for each course, hole and shot played, and then further analyze this data using Windows software SureAnalysis. Furthermore, you can even measure the distance of shots played, knowing the exact distance shot with each club, and using this information the device can suggest which clubs to use if you ever play that course again.
Costs around USD400 from most leading golf stores.
