Writers never know when inspiration is going to hit. It’s really one of the most frustrating things because you feel the tremendous force of all the things inside you that are waiting to be said, sung, put to poetry, put to lyrics, or realized in some sort of literary sense. There is so much power in the written word because so many people lock themselves up tight and are unable to express their emotions.

When they hear a song, read a line of poetry, watch a movie, read a book, watch a play, or hear somebody say what it is they’ve been feeling, there is a moment of pure freedom that is experienced. Writers are essential to unlocking the hearts of people. [Read more…]
