Asus has developed a new videophone made just for those who love using Skype. The Touch AiGuru SV1T Skype Videophone allows a user can carry out unlimited video and voice calls to its Skype contacts. The feature set includes a 7-inch touchscreen display with an easy to use iconized UI, integrated webcam, speaker, mic and Wi-Fi. It also happens to support a wired Ethernet connection just in case of unavailability of a wireless network. Asus claims the new videophone improves and expands upon the Eee videophone they launched last year.
SILKy smooth Skype calls with the Freetalk Everyman headset
See what I did with that title there? SILK is the super wideband audio technology that comes built in to the latest versions of Skype (Windows 4.1 / Mac 2.8) and offers much improved stereo audio call quality.
The Freetalk Everyman headset only costs around £19 ($30) and not only offers quality calls but comes with a converter plug that lets you listen to music on your portable music player as well as plug in to your PC via USB.
